At a time of high and increasing fuel prices it is worth recalling one of the perks of Tops’l’s contract with Port Solent. As an annual berth holder, we get a discount on fuel at any Premier marina.

As we normally refuel at the local fuel berth in Port Solent, this discount is applied automatically. However, there are now two other Premier marinas in Portsmouth Harbour that can be used for refuelling when Port Solent is unavailable out of hours. (Operating hours are 08:00-18:00 in Summer, 09:00-17:00 in Winter.)

One of these other marinas is Gosport Marina, which has a 24 hour self-service fuel pump for both diesel and unleaded petrol. In order to receive a discount at these pumps, it is necessary to use the Fuel Card above. Today, 14th September, diesel costs £1.86 per litre and the discount is 28p per litre, so worth having.

Try not to forget about using the card as it is worth a significant amount to the club. Maybe include the Fuel Card in your routine for refuelling at Port Solent as a reminder.
