Dinner at The Ship, 7th February 2026

As the summer sailing season winds down, it’s good to have something to look forward to!

This winter’s Tops’l pub night will be at the Ship Inn, Langstone on Saturday 7th February 2026. I’d be grateful if you can let me know if you want to attend. I will ask for firm numbers nearer the date.

For those who haven’t attended a Tops’l pub night before, it’s a convivial opportunity to reflect on this season’s sailing and look forward to the coming year. It’s a good opportunity to develop plans for the summer’s cruise, with Elfida planning to head to southern Brittany in the spring.

As usual, the large upstairs room at The Ship has been booked, catering for about 30, which is our normal turnout. We’ll meet in the downstairs bar for a drink then move upstairs at 19:00 to eat. We will need to pre-order food and, in due course, I will circulate the menu to attendees. The pub offers a varied, reasonably priced menu, with something for everyone. In the meantime, please put the date in your diary: Saturday 7th February.
