Our Yachts

Tops'l is completely owned by its members, who are effectively part owners of all three yachts and equipment.

a Halberg-Rassy 36 (2003) bought in pristine condition, joined our fleet in September 2008. A heavier displacement, sea kindly yacht. Below deck is very comfortable with a cosy feel. Seven berths in two cabins.

Everyone who took part in the long sectors of our Canaries cruise 2010/2011 were impressed with her sailing performance. She copes well in rougher conditions and is extremely comfortable in big swells. Our first club boat with a centre cockpit - we love the seats at the back!

She has a 55hp Volvo engine, coloured chart plotter and repeater, cruising chute, genoa and jib.

Also, cabin heating, VHF radio, Navtex, Radar, Liferaft, EPIRB and two way AIS

Carina – a Southerly 110 - bought new in February 2010

The inclusion of Carin in our fleet gives us opportunities to visit shallow creeks and harbours both in home waters and further afield.

She has a 30hp Yanmar engine, coloured chart plotter, furling gennaker, bow thruster, twin rudders, a 2.2m swinging keel and a tall rig. The expectation is that Carina will comfortably cope with the longer offshore passages undertaken on our annual cruises.

Also, cabin heating, VHF radio, Navtex, Radar, Liferaft, EPIRB and two way AIS

Elfida - our Dufour 380 (bought new in March 2013. Replaces 4Top our very popular Dufour Classic 36)

A comment from one of our skippers - 'I was very fond of Fourtop. She was very easy to sail and I was a bit apprehensive as to how Elfida would be upwind, with winds forecast. Didn't need to worry!!

I think Elfida was a great choice by the Board as she sails really well and will be just as popular as Fourtop was with the membership, I'm sure'.

Elfida has three double cabins and the table in the main saloon converts to another double so lots of space for families and perfect for three couples wanting to sail together each having their own cabin.

She has a 40hp Volvo engine, GPS, a genoa and genneker

Also, cabin heating, VHF radio, Radar, Liferaft, EPIRB and two way AIS
